At KUNZE, we prioritize the quality of our products and services. Therefore, we aim to provide you with a clear overview of our policies regarding warranty and guarantee.

Gesetzliche Gewährleistung gegenüber Endverbraucher (Konsumenten)

Our products are subject to the statutory warranty in accordance with the provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB). This means

  • Duration: The statutory warranty period is two years from the date of delivery of the goods.
  • Defects: It covers defects that already existed at the time of purchase.
  • Burden of proof: In the first 12 months after purchase, it is assumed that the defect already existed at the time of purchase. After that, the burden of proof lies with the buyer.

Warranty for business customers

The following regulations apply to our business customers (B2B):

  • Duration: The warranty period is 12 months from the date of delivery of the goods (the date of delivery is usually the receipt of the goods and the countersignature of the delivery bill)
  • Duty to inspect and give notice of defects:
    Business customers are obliged to inspect the goods for defects immediately upon receipt and to report these in writing within 10 working days. Otherwise the goods shall be deemed to have been approved.

Warranties for Used Equipment

For used devices, we offer a separate warranty specifically for pre-owned equipment. The terms and conditions of this warranty can be found in your quotation or order confirmation.
